Can somebody answer a totally random question for me?

Does anybody remember what our starting line-up was from the '04-'05 season, the last time we won an NCAA tournament game?

I know we started Blaylock and Stinson in the backcourt, and definitely Homan and Rahshon Clark too, but who was our fifth starter? Was it Damion Staple? I seem to remember him coming off the bench with Tasheed Carr, but I really can't remember.

I don't know this is bugging me, but it is for some reason (probably because I'm a freak). Can somebody help me out with this?

It was Staple. He started 27 games that season.

Thanks.....man, that team didn't have much depth at all, did it? Outside of the top six and occasionally Jon Neal, nobody else got many minutes.

On ISU's ESPN.com page, you can search the schedule and box scores for the past several seasons.

It saddens me now that I realize I totally forgot about Jon Neal. That guy was crazy on his 3's.

Ah...Jon Neal. Anybody else remember the game against Iowa where he came off the bench to hit two HUGE threes and draw a charge against Pierre Pierce in the final minutes?

That's a moment etched in immortality.

Maybe the early ones. The late ones? Not so much. Coach McD is the first coach since maybe Orr that can go over 8 players on his bench. Floyd was usually 7 and maybe 8. Same with LE and WM. If ISU ever had anybody in foul trouble, it was game over.

I hope McD gets it together because I really like the players he has brought in, and the fact that his teams have some versatility.

yeah...we were a 6 man team that was always outgassed at the end of games. A deeper bench and we are more successful that year.

That's what always bugged me...no bench depth.
