What can fans do about the BCS?

I am completely sick of the BCS system. I've spent the last several seasons hoping for a complete screw job on some major team that will finally serve as the catalyst for changing to a playoff. A few of those have happened, with no change in sight. Now that there are conference championship games, and the new 12th game, they have more excuses than ever to avoid change. What can we do about it?

I'm getting to the point where I am considering not watching any of the bowl games, with the exception of the national championship. Their system has made all other bowl games meaningless anyway. Any other ideas?

I can't turn off college football. I just can't, no matter who is playing.

Yet I too hate our system. Instead of pairing the best teams against one another, it's about money and agendas. That's pitiful and severely damages the purity many of us love about college sports.

You have voters putting Michigan and Florida much higher/lower than they deserved in order to get the game they had on their agenda - and some voters admitted doing so! There are 6-6 teams going to quality bowl games.

I could live a little better with the system today if the voters would vote for the best teams, period. And bowl committees would select the best team available to them, period.

I think we know that won't happen anytime soon. So, yet another reason to get a playoff system where a selection committee decides its at-large participants.

Best thing that could happen is we have four or five undefeated teams crying their hearts out at the same time. That would result in a public outcry. We could have Fox ofdfer buig bucks for a playoff package to NCAA - bigger than they get now. Money talks in Indianopolis.
