    Final score in Columbus?

This one could get ugly. Anyone think it will be a game?

I don't even think the Bucks will need a game plan with the weapons they have.

    Re: Final score in Columbus?

We have nothing to lose, lets go out there and try to make a game of it. I'll be happy if we keep it somewhat respectable and improve on some things. I think it will be great to get us ready for conference play.

Is it possible to detain Ohio State's starting five in the locker room for the game?

That would really help our chances...

    Re: Final score in Columbus?

It's really an easy game for OSU to overlook and take lightly, being that they just had a big rivalry game against Cincy on Sat and have defending champs Florida coming up next Friday.

Thats why I think we'll keep it under 20. Something like 85-67

    Re: Final score in Columbus?

I actually have a good feeling about this game. That being said, Buckeyes win by 14. As long as we don't get burried in the first 10 minutes, we can make it a game, or atleast not get blown out.

    Re: Final score in Columbus?

I hope Marsden and Gray are ready to go because we are going to need all the fouls we have against Oden. I would think Jiri will almost have to start just so we have some kind of height against Oden who is 7 foot. CJ is only 6-7 and has his issues on defense, I can't imagine GMac allowing Oden to just dominate CJ. Not that Oden is going to be stopped by any of our post players as it is but at least the other 3 guys have some height to use against him.

    Re: Final score in Columbus?

The way Oden has been play we won't be able to really foul him out of the game, similar to a hack a shaq strategy. The offense doesn't run through him and he usually takes less then 10 shots a game. Most are put backs and dunks, he hasn't done anything outside of 5 feet yet....
-He will dominate our bigs defensively though...

    Re: Final score in Columbus?

Oden goes about 280 lbs? How in the world will ANY of our post players be able to do anything?

I say we lose big and OSU puts the scrubs in with 5 minutes left in the game.

ISU chucks 3s most of the game since we can't do anything on the inside. Look for 25+ 3 point attempts.

yes we can lose by 30+. very optimistic of you to think we will come out with a win but you have to realize who we've lost to (and by how much for that matter) and who we've been beating (not anyone legitimate) and even in those games we weren't putting them out of reach. As much as i'd love to see a "W", the fact that they are Top Ten and its at their place.....can't say its gonna be pretty.

I'm just getting ready to support our guys for right after the game.. I get the feeling like after playing against Oden, you come off the court feeling like less of a man...

Ha! My high school boys bball team used this against Iowa Falls when Nick Collison was there. There was no way to contain them, so we just slowed it way down.

I would put the over/under at 20. (and take the over) I have a little inkling our guys might surprise us with 5-10 great minutes, but OSU is way too much for ISU to handle right now.
