    Mizzo / OSU Not Dominant

Well, so far OSU is not looking as dominant as they were suppose to be and Mizzoo was not at all. Maybe the Big 12 Offenses are not as good as we think??

I somewhat agree but when you give a coaching staff a month to prepare you shouldn't get lit up. Also, Oregon isn't a slouch themselves. They're ranked 17th for a reason. You can't blow everyone out.

one area that the Big 12 does dominate: We have at least 2 QBs with MILFs. Did you see Chase Daniels' mom last night? I recall Colt McCoy's mom was in the same class.

OSU does not look good tonight. Big12 is going to be known for bad defense and too many turnovers.

OSU and Oregon's offenses are beginning to loosen up. Either that or the defenses are getting tired... but it is getting more exciting!

Re: Mizzo / OSU Not Dominant

I think the continuity the Big XII's offenses had during the regular season is all but gone. Robinson and Daniel both missed throws repeatedly that they were nailing a month ago. One of my few gripes with the bowls (too much time off).

OSU is still a pretty darn good team. Oregon looked bad early, but now look pretty good. OSU is giving them answers for every shot they take. That is part of the makings of a pretty good football team.

OSU's best player also got hurt in the first half. He was big for their offense this year,

Re: Mizzo / OSU Not Dominant

Well you can count me among the numbers of those duped into thinking they could score at will. I had Maclin and now Robinson & Hunter on my Bowl fantasy team and they are letting me down.

I honestly thought most of the Big 12 teams would get lit up and do some lighting up. In reality they have played at least "decent" defense though it is questionable how good any defense is that gives up 180 yards rushing and 3 long Td runs through 3 quarters. But the point being while Mizzou and Okie St's D's have been passable there O's are very choppy. It is almost surreal.

They get out of conference and start playing D, making one assume hey they had good D's all along but the O's they played were top shelf.

However and here is where it gets "odd" they suddenly can't "dominate" on O. Against of all people Oregon who gave up 39 Touch Downs this year!!

My thoughts on that (like anyone is really interested…….) are Okie St is still likely going to score in the high 30's (scoring 31 as I type) and 2 other things I have noticed while watching the last 2 Big 12 games, and through out the year. I believe it is because of the appearance of the new conference philosophy being get the ball and score with D being a necessary evil. Plus getting out of conference I don’t believe they have been hit this hard all season as rival conference foes seem very intent on really punching them in the mouth.

    Just my uneducated musings.

This one could come down to who has the ball last.

What conference are we suppose to talk about?
