Re: ISU Plays host to Mercer on New Years!

I hate to say it, but this one of those games where everyone expects us win, but it will be difficult to do so. Mercer already has road wins at Alabama, Auburn and Loyola Marymount - not too shabby. Plus, I have a feeling the atmosphere in Hilton won't exactly be rockin. Not only are all of the students gone, but the ISU staff who want to attend will have to take vacation in order to do so - very strange.

    I really don't understand a 4pm weekday game.

It's a lot better than a 7:00 or 8:00 start on NYE (both of those have happened).

Anything from 5-7 leaves plenty of time for parties after the game. 4PM on New Years day would be better. 4 is just too early.
