    Who got "Chizzed"

I was thinking earlier this week about some of the talented players on our roster who seemed to get passed up for younger talent, and the players that entered Cheesed***'s notorious "dog house." Who do you think got the worst end of GC's antics?

For example: Allen Bell was one of the bright spots on our defense two years ago, and I thought he would be one of the leaders on our defense last year. This year, GC only seemed to put him on the field on 6 cb situations...

How about Colin Franklin? Allen Bell is a definite.

    They were Chiz-napped.

    JJ Bass

Marquis Hamilton(who is a man!) How many times in 07 did MH make a tough catch over the middle while holding onto the ball and getting lit up by a defender? Hamilton got hosed big time.

    Jamie Pollard

Myself, and some other 40,000-50,000 people.

40-50,000? You've got to up that a bit, and include all those chizzed-off Auburn fans.

Colin seemed to get lots of good playing time and produced on the field. I thought Bass may have been hurt a little? Bell is/was a headscratcher. Hamilton has Chiz all over his face - the kid does nothing but bring it every play... Hope he gets a renewed shot this year.

Horrible thread. Players are benched because of academics, bad attitudes, or injuries, and suddenly that's "Getting Chizzed".

Everyone knows that "Getting Chizzed" is being lied to and quit on.

That's the definition. Don't mess with it.

Bell, Singleton, and Hamilton all were screwed by chizik. JJ Bass as well. Dont know why Chizik moved Harris over to offense to sit the bench, he was chizzed too.

    Wallace Franklin maybe too.

Heard Drenard Williams got royally chizzed.

    Define "screwed.

Bell was benched early in the season for a bad attitude. It was reported as such here, and agreed upon by in inside souce. He played a lot late.

Hamilton was out of shape early on (that was obvious) , but played more late.

Singleton started most of the year. Tell me how he was "screwed".

Wallace Franklin had academic issues, then hurt his shoulder when he was ready to come back.

This is nothing but a witch hunt.

As I said, the whole team got Chizzed, by definition.

I wish people would stop looking for excuses to pile more crap on Chizik. No one complained about any of these things during the season, this is just soutr grapes. Please, be a little more mature.

Tell me, do you still hold a grudge against your eighth grade girlfriend for dumping you?

    Re: Who got "Chizzed"

CloneIce- I wondered about Jason Harris too. He looked like our best back in the spring game and gained about 80 yards in 5-6 carries in our first game, then never sees the field again. I asked a player about him and a friend also asked several other players. They said they had no idea why he didn't play as he wasn't hurt, didn't fumble in practice, and looked good in practice. They also weren't aware of any attitude problem. The player I talked to thought he should have been playing. It's just weird, kind of like McCarney rarely letting Ryan Koch touch the ball until the last game of his senior year, and he churns out about 170 yards to beat Missouri. We've had some strange coaches, but I think Rhoads has more brains than the last two put together.

Marquis Hamilton was #1 on the list of people who got Chizzed, and it's not even close. The guy does nothing but come up with big plays when he's out there, and he spent much of the season sitting on the bench behind some wet behind the ears freshmen who weren't nearly ready for Big XII play. All I can guess is that Chizzlestick made his freshmen some promises regarding playing time, or maybe he was just treating the players he didn't recruit like red-haired stepchildren.

JJ Bass belongs on that list.

    Maybe even Philip Bates.

Pollard does not. His chizzing was self-inflicted.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

Hold on. I think he should have had more playing time than he got. He was able to break away from defenders and be anm easy target. That is what I am saying.

If I owned a camel, I would ride it to Auburn and have it drop a 10 pound load of Chiz on his porch, ring the doorbell and ride back to ISU.

I think Dan McCarney finally overthrew the IDIOT OC barney cotton, made a decision that we were going to run the **** football. BC and GC are cut from the same mold.

Good friends with JJ Bass and he had 2 closed door meetings with Chizzlestick and he had told him that he would start the next game only to renig on his promise. Was supposed to start against EIU how do you expect a player to respect a coach who can't keep his word?
