    Re: Don't talk in movies

Im not saying its ok, but I understand. I went to a movie lastnight and a guy behind us answered his phone and had a conversation. People are so rude in theaters. I also dont like when someone bring their 4 year old kids to movies like 300. Idiots.

    Re: Don't talk in movies

They charged him with attempted murder.. thats a little overboard.. nothing kills a conversation like a bullet wound to the arm..hopefully after the screaming died out and everyone had fled, this gentleman got to enjoy his movie in peace

I agree "Attempted Murder" is a little strong, sounds like Aggravated assault would be appropriate here but... who am I to question what people get charged with

When I saw "Team America World Police" there was some woman who had brought a 5-6 year old. You would think that maybe she would have thought that puppets=kids movie and that she didn't pay attention to the R rating. But she never left after all the swearing, puppet sex scene etc.

I had a guy answer his phone and proceed to have a full conversation in a normal voice during a movie once. Luckily I didn't have a gun. I would have shot him in the stomach so he could suffer more before he dies.

I wonder what movie they were watching?
And I wonder after the guy got shot, if he looked at the guy with the gun with the "WTF, are you serious" look on his face.

    Re: Don't talk in movies

I'm fine with this, send a message to annoying people in movie theaters. I've all but given up on going to theaters, people are rude and inconsiderate, I don't know if it's because they think people can't see/hear them because the lights are off or what, but it drives me crazy.

Did anyone catch the part of the article where he had the gun clipped inside his sweatpants?

    That's hardcore.

    Re: Don't talk in movies

I really can't stand going to theaters. I'm glad I am only drug (sp?) to about one per year. I would much rather watch them in my own home or at a friend's house where I can eat and drink whatever I want (for a good price, too!), pause the movie when needed, and not have to worry about spoiled kids (middle schoolers and high schoolers) who think they are "all that and a bag of cheeze-its."

People in "public" get on my nerves. Scratch that, people in general get on my nerves!

I really avoid theaters in general. I would much rather watch something at home and not pay 10+ dollars to be annoyed by people around me.

I like to going to movies, but that's only because I don't have to pay for them
