    Re: ISU Loses McHargue

Its a small loss, not that big of deal. Not counting DR, since he'll be playing WR most likely, we still have AA, Tiller, and Bueker.

Guess the number one or two rated JUCO QB in the country can't play? I'm not saying he will, but he certainly is capable. Look at the guys stats, and he has 4.4 speed.

Know nothing about him, but I'll complain in a few years if he turns out good and Tiller bombs.

What do you mean, "Flash Gordon approaching"?

    Re: ISU Loses McHargue

This loss won't make or break the class, but I m dissapointed because I thought that Taylor was a great addition to the quarterback core and a couple years in the system could make an impact. Hopefully Rhoads can move quickly in assemblying the rest of his staff and is able to hit the recruiting front full steam ahead.

    Re: ISU Loses McHargue

AA, Tiller and Darius. If not having a QB next year out of those 3 is a problem then we have bigger issues to deal with (like an O-line etc...)

I could not agree more. We have that spot covered. An undersized slow QB is not needed. I like the guys we have.

    Re: ISU Loses McHargue

I'd have to imagine the staff will take a QB if they can get one, but I'd imagine it won't be the very top need.

True, but I would much rather have his scholly for an Lineman. Its about time we start building teams from the line up.

Brad Banks was not that great of QB, but when he had 16 minutes to throw he sure was......I would like to see Sedrick, Darks, Money, Jones have some time to run some routes. And on the defensive side. Imagine LJ if we had some pressure on the QB?
Get the lines and the rest falls in place. At least it will make us competive.
