this is what the rest of the schedule looks like, i think 15 games is not out of the question, why? because for some reason we always seem to pull off some wins that we are not sposed to. yes the team needs alot of work, i am very aware of that, but i think if we can get 15 wins this season, including maybe a "how the heck did we do that" win against kansas, because we have done it b4, would make this season a success, once again, just an opinion,

so ya what is every1 elses thoughts?

(also some things might change after the OSU game..pos or neg)

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

Re: ideas of the rest of the season

I see us winning 5 more games. They are:

    1.) SE Mo St
    2.) Nebraska at Home
    3.) K State at Home
    4.) Colorado at Home
5.) Either Neb, K State, or Colorado on the road

    8-6 Non-Conf, 4-12 Conf, 12-18 overall.

Outside chance we can pull off 2 or 3 more wins. I think 15-15 overall is absolute best case scenario.

Having said that, I enjoyed watching the effort yesterday against Bradley and truly believe there are great things ahead 2-3yrs down the road.

    Go Clones!

I think we'll beat North Dakota State at home; I think Oklahoma at home is winnable; I think Baylor at home is winnable. Along with the others you mentioned. Six conference wins would be nice at this juncture.

North Dakota State is a better team than Bradley....IMO. Don't think they don't have a very good team just because of their name.

Re: ideas of the rest of the season

I'd say 12 wins given what I've seen the last few games. Early on in the non-conference, I thought we could be 10-4 going into conference play. Not anymore. We are really struggling with the new system. We are taking baby steps to getting better. At least I'm seeing less turnovers.
