    Top Holiday Movies?

All right, I'm sick of the meltdown, so I'm going to talk about something else.

What are your favorite holiday movies?

My top 5 (in no particular order)...

    Christmas Vacation
    Elf
Scrooged (my dark horse special--I'm guessing not many people would say this one)
    A Christmas Story
    It's a Wonderful Life

    Honorable Mention: Home Alone

    Re: Top Holiday Movies?

I would say that 'It's a Wonderful Life' could account for all five of my picks because that's how much I love that movie. That said, Christmas Vacation is still LOL funny after 20 years.

    Re: Top Holiday Movies?

I like not so obvious Christmas flicks, like Die Hard 1 and 2, Gremlins, Black Christmas (the original), and the entirely crappy Silent Night, Deadly Night, which was banned in parts of the US.

But It's a Wonderful Life is by far my fave.

Oh, Santa's Slay with Bill Goldberg is also hilariously bad.

I agree with all those you picked. The only one I might add is the one with Yukon Cornelius. I can't remember the name and I am to lazy to look it up. (yea I know it is more than 5)

    Re: Top Holiday Movies?

Why no Bad Santa? Christmas Vacation is the best. I'm not even a Christmas-y person, by any means, but both of those movies crack me up...

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

Wrong holiday. That one's about getting home for Thanksgiving.
