    Mediacom Capital Classic tickets

Hey, my wife and I just looked at dahlstickets.com to see what was left, and I don't know if they opened up some new tickets, but we got club section seasons in the 11th row at center court. I'd check it out if you guys don't have tickets yet.

Good work, BryceC. However, I don't like the way they sell tickets to this thing. Do they hold these great seats for season ticket holders, and if they don't buy them up, they are open to the general public? I called a couple weeks ago, and decided on the $10 seats in the upper deck, midcourt. A buddy of mine paid $30 per ticket earlier this week and got lower level behind the hoops. And now, they are selling $30 seats lower level midcourt. What gives?

Yeah, they were 30 bucks, but it's amazing to watch a game that close.

Trust me, you'll never pay 30 bucks for tickets that good in Hilton.

Also, I have no idea how they go about selling the tickets for this thing. All I know is, however they do it, it's good for me.

My understanding is - if you own a group of season tickets for the Stars, you have first right of refusal for any and all events at the Well for your same seats. This could be a case of someone (Stars season ticket holder)deciding they don't want to purchase these tickets for the Mediacom Capital Classic, and now they are being opened up to the general public.

You have to wonder, if we lose to Bradley with a weak crowd, do we continue to have a game there each year? Hopefully the national TV coverage makes it worth it.

    Re: Mediacom Capital Classic tickets

Thunderdave is correct. My company owns a "box" and we have the right to buy tickets for any event but you have to buy all the tickets in the box. For season ticket holders I think you have to buy all the tickets you have season tix for.

    Re: Mediacom Capital Classic tickets

    i need $40!!!!!!!

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I'll be in the club section...about 7 rows up, those Star tickets finally were useful for something!

    Re: Mediacom Capital Classic tickets

I heard tickets weren't selling well at all. Nothing like last year. I wouldn't expect more than 10K Max. Ohio State has a little more buzz than Bradley, plus our fan base just doesn't show the support it should. Over 60K alumni in the DSM area....with these kind of sales is pretty weak. Tickets are $20-$30 bucks each for two games. That is quite reasonable.
