Is Joe McMahon the first commit?

If so, can we get him to scrap that Boise State t-shirt pictured on another site!

I hope we see a trend toward more athletic OLs. It seems like a 290lb guy that can move is better than a 330 guy that is stuck in the mud -- ie the Fischers.

Great news that his first commit is an OL. A handful of decent juco OL this year will make his first few years a lot easier, since the cupboard isnt exactly stocked at that position.

It looks like Joe was a 2nd team NJCAA award winner.

Re: Is Joe McMahon the first commit?

he seems like one of the better gets we have gotten as a juco o-lineman, we seem to almost always go after the 300 pounders instead of the guys who can move, he doesn't look fat at least from that pic, so myabe he will fit in. We don't get too many commitments from chi-town!!!!!!!!

It is great that we finally got a commit and that he looks to be a decent OL. We can't be to picky right now. The cupboard is definately not stocked at that position. In fact it's completely empty. I think Macgyver could make a better O-line right now out of tape, paper clip, gum, an 8 oz glass, and a 10 gallon fish tank than what we have in the cupboard right now! Please realize that the last line was full of sarcasim.
