Greg Ohlsen talked to Sed J

    http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=171&f=2549&t=3631004

SJ said he's excited about next year. Apparently Spears (JUCO OT) is a good friend of his.

Doesn't expect many transfers. This is good to hear, especially from a guy that was one of the more conflicted recruits as far as other offers go!

Yeah, people were talking about this on Monday or Tuesday I think (not the interview, but the commitment and how it relates to SJ). Huge. Need him to stay. Of course nothing is guaranteed - but it looks good right now.

Re: Greg Ohlsen talked to Sed J

Sedrick is a great guy. Anyone that's met him can attest to that.

For a guy that could very easily be very cocky, he's a really good guy. I don't think there was EVER any threat of him leaving, but it's great to know for sure he wants to stay. Hopefully we can get him the ball down the field next year.

Re: Greg Ohlsen talked to Sed J

I really am a huge fan of SJ. He has some natural athleticism, get some bulk and some experience, and he could really be a threat. Think a mix of RJ and Blythe.

Glad to hear he is a Cyclone, and not a Chizik guy.

I was glad when the Morgan loyalists left. If you can't realize being a Cyclone means something, then I don't want you hanging around.

Oh, he came in as a Chiz guy. He picked ISU because of the coaching staff.

Re: Greg Ohlsen talked to Sed J

This is great news, and more of what we have heard from others. Sooooo much potential in that Freshman class from last year. They could really end up being special.

Hopefully the verbal commits are reading these articles...

    It's all good!

“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”

"I hope to coach here until I retire," Hoiberg said.

I'm pretty confident Darius Darks is sticking around too, LJ is atleast going to wait for the new coach..

The good news is, a lot of them have settled down.

Thanks for the updates and keep them coming when you get new stuff.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.
