    Fields of Glory

Was watching Fields of Glory on INHD which if your not familiar with tours stadiums around the country and it showed this place in Iowa City that I'm not familiar with. They featured i believe a Division III team called the EIU Crapeyes wasnt sure if anybody else watched it. I'm sure they be coming to Jack Trice anyday now.

    Re: Fields of Glory

I am pretty sure the school in which you heard about is a bad guy trade school where they educate you in the skill of your desired trade. A few examples of the trade's being offered.

How to rape and get away with it.
How to get free cell phone service.
How to get a DWI on a moped when you are a 300lb D lineman.
    How to shoplift.
How to qualify for bowls with a record that is submarginal at best.
How to cheat on exams and only get suspended for 1 game.

These are only a few of the more popular curriculums. For a complete list of available trade education, see www.PUKEYE.EIU.com.

    You forgot:
How to live in subsidized housing when your dad makes $2M.
Hair gel - wear it, know it, love it!
How to chest bump a security guard (women's studies)
Public speaking (counting to two) - Iowa Hawkeye Pride!
Off-field blitzing by offensive linemen or "Beating your QB until he is unconscious."

Thanks for bringing them up as I forgot those. We also forgot their education at satelite locations offered at McDonalds and Walmarts all over Iowa entitled:

How to be an arrogant obnoxious EIU fan without ever attending our awesom Community College.

Can also be offered in conjunction with:

Sports 101 for those ignorant fans who don't know what a football, basketball or full-nelson is all about. Gets you to know just enough so you can justify your arrogance and obnoxiousness.

On a side note - The Dental College of EIU invented the toothbrush.
If it was invented anywhere else, it would've been called the teethbrush.

    Then there's:

How to afford a Benz, full body leather and Mr. T neckware (while a "student")...and fumble twice on the Rose Bowl goal line without anyone suspecting that you threw the game.

Sedrick Shaw played in the late 90's-early 00's.

It was Ronnie Harmon that fumbled. Here is the first few lines of that article you linked:

However, accusations by a mobster this week on HBO's Real Sports implicated Ronnie Harmon in throwing the 1986 Rose Bowl.
