How about you don't call people "cultists" for advocating their desired football coach replacement.

You realize a middle school soccer team could have beaten Buffalo before he got there, right?

Buffalo has basically been the worst team in all of FCS up until Gill's arrival. His turnaround - even in the MAC is very impressive.

Hell, I think we even might have beaten pre-Gill Buffalo with this year's team...

Re: what is up with this mindless cultish worship of Gill?

    Buffalo Bulls

    2002: 1-11
    2003: 1-11
    2004: 2-9
    2005: 1-10

    --> Gill takes over

    2006: 2-10
    2007: 5-7
2008: 8-5 (still to play: International Bowl vs. UConn)

    Does that answer your question?

And I'm not sure I see any "cultish worship".

    Seriously - I mean...seriously.

Why is this guy still allowed to projectile vomit via his fingers here? Every single post put up by this "guy" calls someone out in one way or another.

Not to mention, being the new thread queen. There's already a few Gill threads...

There always has to be a man crush when your going through a coaching search. It seems like Gill is a pretty good candidate for that in this case. I'm with the crowd that says, if you can turn Buffalo around, you know some ****.

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving.

Re: what is up with this mindless cultish worship of Gill?

Obviously you just started watching football 3 years ago!!!
In the early 2000s when I was in college I bet on a ton of football. For almost 3 years straight buffalo was a lock almost every weekend to not cover the spread. The spreads were ridiculous like 30-40 points. They had the longest losing streak in the nation at one point like 21 losses straight. I think they finally beat a terrible army team to break the streak only to go on to lose their next 14... Then this year they beat an undefeated top 15 Ball State team to win the MAC. What Turner Gill has done in 3 years at Buffalo leaves me in awe. People like you who apparently have no clue what their talking about need to look at the whole picture rather than whats between the lines.
