A couple of other tidbits of info: Terrance carried the ball right around 850-900 times in his 3 year high school career. Durable? He missed ONE practice his sophomore year. Never missed a game or part of a game. Dependable? Throughout those 850-900 carries over 3 years, Terrance fumbled the ball 5 times. That is pretty durable and dependable.

LOL......just an ADULT friend who has enjoyed watching Terrance play and will do anything I can to help him get the recognition he deserves. Oh yeah, he also has a 3.54 GPA and wants to major in Accounting. He is one of the nicest and most polite guys you will ever meet. His mother is Jeremiah Trotter's sister, so that tells you a little about his bloodline.

I know Terrance personally and talk to him pretty much on a daily basis.

He had a soft verbal with SMU, but they have twiddled their thumbs and are no longer in the equation. He visited Houston and Rice, and really liked Rice. May have even hinted at changing his commitment to Rice, but then the Big 12 came a callin'.

He is supposed to visit ISU within the next week or two.

I hope that it pans out, he looks like he could at least be groomed into a very good back.

Rivals also has him listed at 6'0 199lbs and running a 4.64 40. Is that info correct? Anything else to add?

Verbal commitments are non-binding. Nothing is final until signing day in February. Recruits can and do change their mind on where to play.

Until Callahan arrived in Nebraska, I really never got into recruiting that much. If Chizik and his staff can recruit, you'll be like me and cann't get enough of it.

Re: ISU offers Texas 2A RB - Terrance Ganaway

Those are ungodly stats. 417 yards rushing with 6 TDs in one game??? That is sick. I'd be happy with 1/3 of that production from an ISU back.

Ganaway, I take it he has some interest in Iowa State?

Because the verbals are non-binding, good coaches continue to recruit kids even after they give a verbal...things can (and do) change frequently.

I live in Louisiana...LSU has a "Recruiting Bash" on signing day in February and nearly 10,000 people come to watch the fax machine. A year or two ago, they had a home basketball game the same day and actually had fewer people attend the BB game than the Recruiting Bash. Oh yeah, they do a little drinking too at the bash...all day long!

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Exactly. Case in point, Nebraska got a kid to decommit from TCU to come to NU and just the other day, Nebraska lost a verbal from a kid who switched to Okie St, the kid was torn between being closer to family and friends or NU, family won out.

Good recruiters, just like salesmen, don't take no for an answer.
