    Re: recruiting "commits"

Jackson commited on wednesday i think.. wempa on tuesday. Good to see McHargue bumped up... i know arguably our best commit, Ryan Mosby, is still solid. Sound like he really liked ISU and that was the reason he commited rather than to play for jizzlick

Can't wait to see Mosby play. Sounds like he's a true Cyclone.

Those first two posts helped me laugh about this situation for the first time. Those are some pretty funny names for that lame loser.

Blankenship is a guy i want to keep committed... im not as confident about him as i am about other though. im pretty certain hes going to wait to see who the new coach is before he makes a decision of whether he is going to stay commited or not, but he is looking at his options

Former Arp Star Zack Spears commits to Iowa State

Trinity Valley C.C. left tackle, and former Arp multi-sport star Zack Spears told David Smoak he's committed to play at Iowa State University.

Spears, a 6-7 320-pound left tackle, chose Iowa State over Memphis, SFA, and South Alabama. He also received some interest from Utah.

Spears, a star basketball player at Arp, has only played two years of football, one at Arp, and one at Trinity Valley. Spears will sign on Wednesday, and join former high school teammate Sedrick Johnson in Ames, Iowa.

It's good to see that another one from my high school has committed to you guys. I'm just curious how McFarland is giving out scholarships?

I'm not sure... He graduated high school 2 years ago, and didn't play any last season. I don't know if you can redshirt at a JUCO or not.
