    Tinsley off to Philly?

I just heard on ESPN that there are talks between Indiana and Philly that would send A.I. to the Pacers and Tinsley + a few others to the Sixers. I wonder what kind of fit Tinsley would be in Philly.

CRAP! I hope that doesn't happen. That's the last thing I need... a ballhog on my Pacers!

He wouldn't have to be a ball hog for the Pacers. He'd have some talented teammates to work with. Being a ballhog in Philly was the only way they could win.

I hope this doesn't happen, They also mentioned Denver and Minnesota in the running for him as well. I enjoy watching Tinsley and the Pacer's play. I'm a Pacer fan right now, just because of Tinsley. I don't want to change to a 76er fan.

Don't worry, wherever he is AI is a blackhole on the offensive side - a ball goes in its never coming back. He's had talented teammates in the past in Philly - but he always get his shots.

"practice!, we're talking about practice! its not a game, its practice."

Yeah and when they had talent on the team they went to the NBA championship. I don't know why you wouldn't want one of the better players in the leauge on your team. Especially if all you are losing is often injured Tinsley

AI's a coach and team killer. NBA players around the league are saying "he's the best point guard ever", but they sure as hell don't want him on their team.

In Philly, it would be Tinsley and Iqouda and Korver. It would not be the end of the world for Tinsley.

Indiana is suppose to be the best choice to move AI. Rick the coach has always been a strange head coach. He would sit players down for several games to make them want to try harder. Like 20 games in a row. It did not always work.

    Re: Tinsley off to Philly?

i stil dont think it would be a bad move, i can actually also see a 3 way trade, like a indiana, min, phi, type of deal, as in, ai goes to min, tinsley and some1 else goes to phi, and some players go from min to indiana, along with maybe a player or 2 from phi to indiana, i had it all figured out on that espn thing, and it would work..i should do it again, it is kinda fun seeing what kind of trades u can do

I would change to be a 76 fan. Some may call it bandwagon jumping, but its ok since its for a player.

Regardless of where AI goes, he'll have to learn to be the second or possibly third option scoring-wise. Players like Jermaine O'Neal, Dirk Nowitzki, or Carmelo Anthony wouldn't be willing to play second fiddle to "the black hole". That being said, if he goes to the right team and fits in chemistry-wise, I could see a championship going to that team.

It really does look like he's going to Indy, they have the most young talent to offer.

Iverson has played with crap, plain and simple. Look at the World Championships, he wasn't a ball hog there. I hope he goes to Minnesota. KG would gladly play second fiddle to Iverson. Can you imagine the matchup problems? Too bad Hoiberg isn't still playing or he'd get open shots constantly.

He absolutely will not go to Minnesota. All they have to offer IS Garnett. Other than that, they have a multitude of bad contracts that nobody wants to deal with (including Minnesota).

Ricky Davis, Mike James are overpaid. Randy Foye is a nice player, but obviously not enough to get an Iverson caliber player. I would say that they could package Foye and a good draft pick or two, but Minnesota doesn't have a good draft pick for 4 more years.

It's most likely he'll end up in Indy for the reasons stated above.
