    Jon Miller

The string of inbred Hawkeye fans you are having on your show is amazing. I'm sure the billboard had something to do with this. Morons. By the way, who won the game the year after that billboard?

    1. Don't listen.

    2. Or call in and say something about these inbred Hawks.

If you're speaking of the billboard that Pollard planted in Cedar Rapids - I believe Iowa did.

Or are you speaking of the KXNO billboards around town? I'm sure Jon had a lot to do with Clearchannel buying the ad space, and which one of their local shows to promote.

    1. You must be new here - no Cyclone fan worth his salt would ever, ever be caught listening to that Haweye Jon's show.

I actually listened to the first few minutes today, just to hear some takes on the coaching thing... Then Deace started to tie religion into the whole thing and I bailed...

That segment was hard to listen to, but he was pretty good after that. He pimped Mason pretty hard towards the end of the hour.

How did religion get tied into it? If I may ask. Any right wing politics as well?

I actually listen to the Jon Miller show when I get a chance too, but I admit it is not very often since I go to school up in the Northern part of the state. I do agree though that if you don't like what you hear...its ok to turn it off. All fan bases have fans like this. Unfortunately all you tend to hear on the shows are the extremists that don't really know what they are talking about and some have never played a sport. I like Jon's show because he tries to cover a lot of stuff and when he does cover ISU, he tries to do a good job with it. We all have biases, Jon's is for the Hawks. He tries to see things from ISU's point of view sometimes, even though he may not do a good job of it. I wish some people would remember, "If you take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive."

It isn't my fault that the Iowa message boards are terrible. I wish the Hawks had a site like this. If I wanted to be on a message board where everyone said the same and agreed with one another all the time, I would be there.

In all honesty, did Deace have much to say about the coaching situation or Chizik? I'd be interested to hear his take.

That's what Deace does. All he does is bring up religion/politics. We don't wanna hear that crap Deace!

It's Deace. He always finds a way to squeeze his self-righteous, conservative, religious-right ideals into everything.
