On to something good for a change. How's the progress on this? Any updated photos?

    Re: ISU basketball practice facility

The guys are out there in the cold today working away. They are putting up the interior walls of block. I would go take some pics, however i do not own a camera.
Feel bad for the guys having to work out there today, because there is no wind block for them and it is freaking windy out here on the west side.
It looked like they were moving towards outlining the courts today to start putting the block in there.

NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

If I get a chance I'll get some photos sometime this week but it doesn't look much different than the photos I posted a few weeks ago.

There are a couple of walls up, not much to see.

There is a lot of underground work still happening (getting plumbing and electrical service into the building). The footings for all the pre-cast are about done and once they start setting pre-cast panels it will start to look like a building in a hurry.

    Re: ISU basketball practice facility

I assume the exterior walls of the gym areas are going to be precast wall panels while all interior walls are cmu block. they should be out there working and im pretty sure they have to have it tarped in and heated via propane to even consider laying block and mortar...otherwise the water in the mortar would freeze and would be useless. and also giving the workers a tarped in heated working area makes them happy and increases productivity over that in which they'd have to lay block out in the cold *** weather
