    Buffalo Wild Wings

Just a friendly warning to everyone:

My co-workers and I just got back from a lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, where we ordered every sauce that they had on the menu and proceeded to have at least one of each sauce in order from Mild to Blazin.

    Never, ever do this.

You and your co-workers are insane. Did you sign the waiver on the hottest sauce? Did you get to the hottest sauce?

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

I love em too, but something about the Parmesan Garlic mixed with the Carribean Jerk and Blazin sauce just messes you up.

On a side note, the Mango Habenero is awesome.

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

We went to Buffalo Wild Wings on a Wednesday night, and Ben Ulin (of "Fox Kids Club" fame in the very early '90's) was traveling from table to table doing magic tricks. It was sweet - nothing like having greasy hands while someone is pulling a quarter out from behind your ear.

Yeah, we got to the hottest sauce, but to be honest by that point our taste buds weren't feelin too much. Its more the turning stomach that's tough to handle and you forget about your mouth being on fire.

Yeah, I felt like my insides were getting torn out when I ordered the hottest sauce at Wings To Go last year for the Super Bowl. I stick to the "hot" now.

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

Colorado, what do you think of Buffalo Wild Wings? I live very close to one here in Greeley. It opened a couple years back. I was really excited when it first opened but I think they are a little full of themselves. Everything on their menu is overpriced and all A la Carte (except lunch specials). They don't use plates or silverware. They have very little on the menu that requires prep time and they have no clean up time since everything is throw away. It seems they would have low overhead. Yet, they charge $6.50 for a sandwich that doesn't come with Fries unless you pay another $2.50. They have great wings. I do like the boneless and their sauces rule. But, come on. I drop $15 everytime I walk into that place not including beer.

    Sorry for the rant.

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

I agree totally with you. I go to the one here in Vegas all the time but it feels like I spent too much money everytime I leave...good food but not enough bang for your buck.

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

I know you didn't ask me what i thought, but I only go there for the wings and the atmosphere. I wouldn't consider it fine dining or a great place for a meal, just awesome wings!

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

If I want to go to a sports bar in Greeley and get some better food for the price, I go to Jackson's All Sports.

However, if I need a wings fix and sports, I cave and go to BWW.

I guess I don't want it to be fine dining either. But they are a small step above fast-food but they charge as much for a meal as Texas Roadhouse or Apple-bees with way less over head.

But, no doubt, great wings and that is why I go back. Hot BBQ is my favorite. I haven't done Blazin before.

    Re: Buffalo Wild Wings

I agree with all of that. We go on 35 cent wing tuesday, and then it's not so bad. I do like the wings, but they're not the best. Tommy Knockers in Idaho Springs has the best chicken wings, but they're not cheap either.
