    Google's Chrome No Longer Beta...

While I don't mind Chrome...I just can't give up Firefox! Maybe I will force myself to play around with Chrome and see how much I like it...

If they had extensions like Firefox I would consider switching.

Agree. They tout their speed and that is important but the beta of Firefox 3.1 is very fast as well so that cancels Chrome out for me.

I've been using Chrome exclusively since September, and that's the only thing I miss about Firefox. That said, the pros of Chrome outweigh that one con by so much that I don't see it as a problem. I never imagined that I would be okay with giving up all my Firefox extensions, but here I am! My browsing habits were barely affected.

I believe Chrome is supposed to have user extensions in the future; they talk about it on their site. I just haven't seen any. Maybe I'm not looking?

I also remember a game with Kansas when Cy (wore a huge suit then) went out to center field, squatted, and "pooped" a couple of chickens that had been dyed blue then chased them around.

I wish the new Firefox had the tabs that you could tear away and throw on another screen, I like that about Chrome.

Does anyone know if chrome updates itself or do I need to do something?

Chrome sucks. I don't fing it any faster than firefox, and it is much less functional.

They said the update should roll out to everyone over the next day or so I think.

Tear off a tab and move it to a second monitor?

Have not tried that, but I do take them to separate windows frequently.

Oh, yeah I can do the seperate window thing. But I like being able to take something and put it on my second monitor so I don't have to switch back and forth to see it.
