I thought they could all play ps2 games?? guess I was wrong on that...mine plays ps2 games but it puts side bars on the edges cause the ps2 games res must not be as great as ps3...what id do is take all those games and system to gamestop and invest in new ps3 games...you won't be dissatisfied one bit Posted via Mobile Device
In short, what do I get? I have a ps2 with a lot of games and want whatever system to be backwards compatible.

This is what I did and I haven't been dissatisfied for one minute. Yeah it sucks to go from a bunch of games to none, but there are some PS2 games you can download straight to the hard drive (for example, I've downloaded Twisted Metal 2...did cost $2.99 or $3.99 I think). However, if you do that, take in store credit! Don't take cash if you want the best value. When I traded off a bunch of my crap, I would've gotten $69 cash, but ended up with $148 in cash by taking in store credit.
side note....my daughter wanted to play an old ps1 sesame street game the other day so I loaded it up. Gotta say the graphics made me laugh watching her play on the hd tv. Crispest old school graphics you've ever seen. Posted via Mobile Device
