    Will it Be The Mayor?

So, today, the T-Wolves fire their coach, and GM Kevin McHale moves over to head coach. Will Fred Hoiberg take the management reins?

Am I wrong or didn't they already try McHale as coach once before.

Now they have far less talent, so I'm sure it'll go better this time.

Uh oh. Maybe Fred should GM, coach and occasionally check in to hit a 3 pointer?

McHale as interim - hires new coach for '09 - things return to status quo.

McHale is single handedly ruining my love for the T-wolves.

Re: Will it Be The Mayor?

I doubt Fred will step in, but I hope so. Only about 2 years ago did McHale go on the record (I think a local newspaper) and said Fred "wasn't ready for the responsibilities of a GM." I've hated that loser Kevin McHale ever since...

What kind of boss rips his own employee in public? Obviously one who has very little job security.

Re: Will it Be The Mayor?

Glenn Taylor has made about zero good choices, as far as Wolves team management, so far. So i doubt Fred will become GM...probably some sort of pseudo power-sharing thing with McHale and Stack.

It doesn't look like they've done any better at drafting with Hoiberg in the mix, though. I agree, i think he should coach this team. I think this team needs someone a lot younger in the coaching position. I don't think these players ever related to Wittman, and i don't think they'll relate to McHale.
