    NFC North

    Who wins it?

Right now the Vikings have a 1 game lead over Chicago but have a much more difficult schedule.

    Minnesota
    at Arizona
    Atlanta
    NY Giants

    Chicago
    New Orleans
    Green Bay
    at Houston

For discussion purposes, say they both end up with the same record and Chicago beats BG...both would have the same divisional record. The next tie breaker is record against common opponents. I'm not sure who that would favor.

    Thoughts?

    Re: NFC North

Green Bay is still going to win it, so does it even matter?

As of right now, the Vikings own all the tie breaks barring the Giants and Airzona don't lose every game.

The Vikes. They hold all the tiebreakers if they tie. That means Chi has to do 1 game better.

I will say that I could see Chicago losing 2 of those three games as well. New Orleans can light up the scoreboard and Green Bay is always pretty close. Hell, Houston is playing well on offense as well.

I think the Vikes beat Atlanta and the Giants. By the last week, the Giants will be resting all their starters.

    Re: NFC North

I think the Vikes could easily lose all of those games. NY could be a decent chance for a win, as they'll likely be resting most players.

Tough game to finish the season for Chicago - Texans looking decent to close the year. I think they lose tot the Saints and Texans and beat GB.

Looking like a decent chance to finish in a tie.

Agree about NO but they also like to lay eggs too. The Bears play well at home and I like their chances against NO and GB at Soldier Field.

22, I agree about the Texans. Although I watched the GB game (Houston should have won by 14+) and they make A LOT of mistakes.

Vikings but it depends on which QB is playing and if the DTs are allowed to finish the season.

    Re: NFC North

I think the Vikes win the North. Yes, Minnesota has a tougher schedule down the road but how exactly will the Bears defense stop the passing game of the Saints, Packers, or Texans...

    Re: NFC North

If the Vikings lose the two Williamses, the discussion is moot. Otherwise, I can't really see how you consider the Vikings' schedule to be "much more difficult". After all, they've already gotten by the Lions twice , and they obliterated the Giants last year, on the road.

    Re: NFC North

Doesn't matter... unfortunately whoever wins the North will not win a game in the playoffs.

As a Packer fan... what a disappointment this season. Defense just crapped the bed the second half of the season and can't get any sort of stop at critical times. 550 yards to the Texans at home?!?!? And please don't bring up Rodgers/Favre, Rodgers has done everything asked of him this season.

5 losses of 4 points or less.

Tell me about it...And I rather go into the playoffs have a ground game over a passing game...You have to run the ball to win in the playoffs so I am thinking we could make a dent in the playoffs...I don't think many teams out there say..."I really hope we get it play AD..."

Rodgers had been fantastic on 3rd down most of the season. The last three weeks (first two possesions of the Carolina game only) Rodgers has been brutal on third down.

Any playoff caliber team will not have problems beating the Vikings. They are too one dimensional. AP will get his yards and 1 or 2 scores, but 14 points doesn't win many playoff games.
