Watch future Cyclone Chris Colvin play, for free.

    HoopFest OnDemand
Click on Whitney Young St. Benedicts.
Colvin is the starting point guard for Whitney Young.
Also, ISU recruit wing Sam Thompson, off Whitney Young, class of '11, along with former ISU recruit Marcus Jordan.
The game won't start until later tonight, but it should be a good one, as Whitney Young has 5 d1 recruits on their roster, and St. benedicts has the #5 2010 player Tristan Thompson on theirs.

    ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are hundreds of "former ISU recruits". Are we supposed to watch all of them as well?

I'm staying away from watching Colvin in high school because it'll just give me too high of expecatations. Seriously, thanks for updating though...

Looking forward to your review, cimd, since i won't be able to watch.

It'll be interesting to see how well Colvin acts as a playmaker, and whether he takes steps to take over the game, slashing to the hole, drawing fouls and/or dishing.

Who are the "studs" on the opposing team?

I'm exhausted, so I'll porbably only watch the first half.
Tristan Thompson is the big stud off St. Benedict's. He and Harrison went back and forth in the ratings for a while. He committed to Texas his freshman year.

Also, in the next game, 2011 recruit Rasham Suarez for Findlay Prep.

Thx. Hopefully several duels between Harrison and Tristan over the next few years--with one of them in a Cyclone uniform.

Man, if he was at IC West this year we would have a great team this year.

Yeah. Do you know why he left for Fidlay? I heard he really liked it at West.

Re: Watch future Cyclone Chris Colvin play, for free.

I saw him play. He's insanely quick. Every time he gets the ball, he easily makes it into the lane because of his combination of speed and his quick first step. Then once he draws a crowd when he gets into the zone, he is a fantastic passer who has a knack for a quick pass to the open man near the basket. He is also a great shooter. The only downfall about him is that he can get a little reckless at times. He needs to work on not turning the ball over as much as he does. That's something that McDermott can help Gilstrap (i'm assuming he'll start over Staiger next year since there is a ton of hype around Gilstrap), Brackins and Vanderbeken, we will be a very very good team next year with a very deep bench of Eikmeier, Staiger, Hamilton, and Buckley.

Colvin is a jet. He'll need some seasoning but he gives us something we don't have. Seriously, he goes end to end in a blink. Maybe the court was really small.
