i am not suprised about a sub-par performance...

After watching the video of the locker room and seeing how excited they were and what a relief it was to get a road win at UNI. It was a decent performance, i expected a little let down and the team responded about how i thought they would.

I am optomistic about this team i could see us being a suprise team this year in the big 12. I think we will go somewhere between 6-2 and 8-0 at home in Big 12 play and i am hoping for to get at least one road win. I would be tickled with 2+ road wins this year.

I am still pulling for a 16-0 Big 12 record but i expect us to have no less than five wins but somewhere between 7-9 wins.

CB did a good job not forcing it in the second half against constant double and triple teams, but letting it come to him.

The nice thing about this team is we are not 1-dimensional. If they want to shack down in Craig we can light them up from the 3, and vice versa.

He did do a better job, BUT he really needs to work on his passing. If he becomes a better passer, this team could really surprise some people.

He needs to be able to read the defense. When the double comes and Lucca is open in the corner, get him the ball. I don't think he realizes how much easier the game will be for him if he does that. After we hit those 3's, it is going to open up the middle for him and make his life that much easier

We need a second post presence though. AT, JVDB, or Hamilton will have to step it up a little and get dirty down low. I really like our perimeter play, but where were the steals today?

This game could have very easily ended badly. Sandwiched between UNI, who we really wanted to beat for our coach, and Drake, who we owe a beatdown, this game very easily could have slipped away. Good coaching and concentration by the team today. A nice win against a sub-par opponent.

Today isn't as well as this team can play. I'm convinced of that.

I really like that we're calling a 13-point win a sub-par performance. Hope is alive in Cyclone Country!

He did a great job of finding DG under the hoop for an open layup and Eik in the corner. Two GREAT passes.

I like the direction of the program now, but I just can't see this team winning more than 5-6 conf. games.

Really this was a sandwich game. UNI then Drake on the outside. McD said they didnt practice well on Thursday. They did what they had to do. I'm not sure last years team could have handled OSU this easy.

I'm sure that last year's team could not have handled OSU this easily. I loved the team, but they wouldn't have handled the pressure defense well at all.

Just from listening in on the radio, it sounded like he wasn't passing well at all in the first half, but played a lot better in the second.

I'm not looking that far ahead. They're improving game to game, and whatever happens against Drake, I'm cautiously optimistic about Iowa.

I think that this, in general, is a fair assessment. He did have some nice passes though, which is encouraging that he can do it, he just needs to gets a little more consistent.

I think we've got a chance to surprise people this year as well, but we will definitely be inconsistent and I'm sure there will be a few head-scratching losses. It should be exciting, regardless.

This was the first game I've watched. I think OSU played a very good defensive game and we shot the 3's well. I wasn't overly impressed with our post defense. It didn't seem to me that we were as athletic as OSU.

I look for Lucca and Diante to show a lot of growth this year.
