Any Ubuntu users here that know how to get Clone Zone videos to play?

    Thanks for any help!

Hmmm, you might need to download VLC, it can usually play most any media formats.

I'll go boot into linux and see what I can find for you, uno momento

Interesting coincidence. I'm downloading Ubuntu right now to install on an old windows 2000 computer that is screwed up. How do you like it? I've never run Linux before.

Ubuntu was the first (and only) flavor of Linux I have ever used on a PC, and I like it. I downloaded it a few months ago, and I presently run it in Virtual Box on an XP machine to get familiar with it. One of these days, I'll get up enough courage to make it the primary OS on one of my PCs.

I've set up my laptop as a dual boot OS, with Windows XP and Ubuntu. I use VLC almost exclusively in Windows, so I expect it will perform great under Linux, although I'm not sure what quirks may lurk in the CloneZone.

I love Ubuntu its my primary OS. The repositories are really nice. It just takes some time getting used to since it has to be 100% free, so you have to download codecs to make your multimedia work. Getting DVD's to play took me some time to figure out. Im just happy I havn't had to compile any programs as of yet, that might me a headache! I still need to get a Windoes OS to dual boot with, luckily WINE is a free app so you can run some of your windows programs in Ubuntu.
