    Re: New recruit article

Could you post the whole thing? I'm not registered for that. Also, some other good news about another recruit.

On the "other board" there was a Kansas fan that wrote this:

Jayhawk fan here. Went to the St. Louis shootout tonight and watched Lucca Staiger play . . . very impressive. He certainly wasn't shy to shoot the ball. They've got a nice 7 footer playing on the team (who's going to Iowa) and it was pretty much those two who carried the team to victory. Lucca was certainly someone who stood out on the court.

The game also featured Horace Grant's son, a 6'9" mini-Horace. Give that kid some googles, he could've passed for his old man. The Grant kid took a nice pass underneath with about 10 seconds to go in overtime and slammed the ball to tie it up. Decatur came right back and fed it to their seven footer for a jam of his own to win. Great game.

I know people have cut and pasted, is it ethical, with a copyrighted article?

I don't know. If registration is free, I don't consider it too bad. But you're probably right.

I just don't want to get all of that junk email at my work address.

Good god Wes, start pounding some of those omaha steaks before you show up in Ames.... like 3 a day. Good to know he's lighting up the nebraska high school ranks, because if he wasn't I'd be really suspect of the scholly GMac offered. We may be to ISU what Cary Cochran was to Neb.....

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.
