    First Car

All this talk about the big three has got me wondering... What was your first car? I had a 1992 Grand Am Gt manual, had a lot of fun in it.

    Re: First Car

1987 Honda CRX and I loved every minute of that car until I blew the head gasket on it. For a two-seater it had the most leg room of any car I have ever owned(or at least it seemed like it). Plus the seats when the would fold down would go all the way back close to 180^.

I had a 1979 Dodge truck. The thing was a tank. Had the thing painted our school colors so it got a lot of attention. Of course iut was a paint job by a buddy and I so it wasnt the most expensive paint job but was better then the primer color that was on it prior.

    Re: First Car

A 91 Saab 9000. It was passed down to me when I turned 14, and my mom wrecked it before i even turned 16. The car had about 270,000 miles on it, and it had to go into the shop every other week. Thankfully, my hometown of about 23 people has a Saab dealership (which is how we had the car in the first place).

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

    Re: First Car

1982 Ford LTD. It passed 200k miles while I was driving it (I think it was 200k miles; it didn't have a sixth digit on the odometer). I sold it, and last I knew it was participating in a demolition derby. I hope it won.

    Re: First Car

78 pontiac grand le mans. it was a salesmans car and it had a spring operated cruise control that phsically held the gas pedal in place. I was accelerating in town and the spring stuck so I was going about eighty down a side street before I figured out how to kick it off. Scared the crap out of me.

    Re: First Car

1982 Oldsmobile Starfire. Leaky sunroof, rear wheel drive. I had to drive folks home from basketball practice, and have them give a push-off when we had ice.

It was great. Open up the hatchback, they'd get us a good push and jump in.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!
