Going to Bears Vikings game Sunday Night

I'm going to the Bears Vikings game sunday night, and haven't been to the dome since I was a kid.

Any advice on where to park? good place to eat?

I went a couple years ago. There are plenty of parking lots near the stadium, if i remember right. Not a bad walk.

As far as parking goes, you'll be able to find places basically anywhere. It all depends on what you want to pay. Parking for football is expensive, so I usually just park closest I am comfortable with and pay the $15 or $20 or whatever.

As far as food goes, how much do you want to spend and what kind of food do you like to eat?

I don't drink the Kool-Aid, and I am done making excuses. Only keeping it real...

I usually park at the Mall of America and take the lightrail to the Metrodome. The lightrail costs a couple of bucks, but you avoid parking fees, traffic, etc... Plus there are plenty of places to eat in and near the MOA.

Bingo! Gets a little packed after the game but it takes away a LOT of the headache leaving Minneapolis. 20some minute ride but it was well worth it in my opinion.

If you can get there for breakfast, there is a place called Hells Kitchen, near the Hilton, get the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, best breakfast place I have ever been...

Yes, that place is very popular. It's owned by the same people that own Creative Kidstuff, so it's great for families, because they have all kinds of toys on the tables for kids to play with.
