Cyclonefanatic site subtly giving up on football

...looks like the cyclonefantic site has given up on football, the countdown timer at the top of the page is for the MBB Hawaii game... not bothering with a countdown to the K-State game...

Happens every year. There is a more heavy lean towards basketball. Im sure everyone will tune into the football game, but another season has started. Nature of the beast.

I think we are all emotionally spent on football.

Hard to get too excited when you are 2-9 and constantly getting blown out this season.

Recruiting is of more interest than the game....

    Post election apathy....

Riding a winning horse in wrestling and MBB and WBB.....

Trying to stay warm with warm thoughts about 3-0 MBB.....

    Thinking more about Hawaii....

Thanking FCS for all their fine work this year - hope they have wind gear......

Given up? All we are playing for is pride and I'm not entirely sure it'a possible to gain any of that back after this year.

Is that a new site, I haven't heard of it before.

BTW- They haven't had the football timer since BB started.

Re: Cyclonefanatic site subtly giving up on football

Kansas, UNLV and Colorado were all very tough losses that ruined much of an otherwise perfectly good Saturday. But I'll still be watching (via gametracker) tomorrow and a win would leave me with a much better feeling heading into next year.

I'll be at the game tomorrow and I'm not overly excited. It's hard to get excited when you are terrible. I'll just be glad to get this season over with and move onto next year.
