    Richmond at Syracuse

Did anybody notice the irony sitting in the far left corner of the court?

I don't know about irony, but I saw a traitor sitting there.

    Re: Richmond at Syracuse

Its time to get over it. He went somewhere where he will be playing in front of 25,000+ every night (yes the carrier dome packs that many fans in), will be playing on ESPN every other game, and will have a solid supporting cast with arguably the best PG in the country in Johnny Flynn. Despite the fact he left and everybody here is upset, he did what was neccessary to get himself to the next level. WJ probably didn't think he had a chance at the NBA when he was recruited by ISU but soon found out he could compete at a high level in a good conference. Let it go, let it go. Oh and Jim Boeheim is one of the top 5 coaches in the country

Is that guy an ISU fan? I don't have a problem with Wes transferring at this point but geez talk about throwing your own program under the bus.

I don't know that Syacuse is on ESPN all that often. I also don't know that they have been all that good in the past few years. And I think I can easily name 5 coaches better that Boeheim.

Wes had the right to leave. I have the right to dislike him for it. And I especially have the right to dislike him for it because he did it in a sneaky way without talking to his coach and after signing a statement that he would stay at Iowa State a few weeks before. There's a reason why most players announce they are leaving at the end of the basketball season and not in May after school is finished.

You have the right to feel anyway you want to about the situation and the parties involved.

However, the Syracuse program and coach are recognized by nearly everyone as in the top tier in the NCAA ranks. This decade, SU has averaged 25 wins a year (with 21 being the fewest wins) and has made post season every year (1 National Championship, 1 Sweet 16, 1 NCAA second round, 2 NCAA first rounds, and 3 NITs). Their coach was part of the coaching staff selected to coach the Olympic Team in the recent Olympics in China and has won 700 plus games in his career.

Again, feel anyway you want but using your bitterness to try and make the claim that the SU program and coach are "not that good" is not very becoming.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

What's to say the move to 'Cuse will get him to the next level? Just because you switch schools, doesn't just automatically make you better
