The coaches against cancer games reminded me to review Valvano's famous speech. I recall when he was reminded about a time limit for the speech he said, "I got tumors all over my body. I'm worried about some guy in the back going thirty seconds, huh?"

If I get too down or disappointed about a game, I remember that. I think of those suffering and the outcome of a game pales in significance.

"You have to have a dream, a goal. And you have to be willing to work for it."
The speech is supposed to be on between games tomorrow night. If you can't wait it is here . . .
