Good. I'm glad they didn't give it to Howard again. Pujols deserves the honor.

Reason #1,345,229 MLB is terribly run...

Why did it take so long to come out with the regular season honors?

So they can draw it out and have people talk about it after the season is over...

Apparently the voters did not agree with you:

    #1 Albert Pujols - 369 points
    #15 Chase Utley - 30 points

    Pujols received 18 1st place votes against Utley's 0.

I think he has said that every year he hasn't won the award or some other comment that slams the winner. Great hitter but the guy is a chump.

Ony a pair of cubs fans could see Albert as anything but a class act.

Maybe they'll do the right thing and vote for Quentin for AL MVP.

Dare you to say it to his face.

Seriously Pujols is nothing but a professional and a class act. I tend to lean towards the team needing to do well. (A-Rod?) But hey, Cards were 10 games OVER .500 in a rebuilding year. Not too shabby. And its already been said his MVPs are well earned, he should have about 4.

Re: Pujols wins 2nd NL MVP

It's difficult to stay unbiased when talking about Pujols because I'm a diehard Cards fans, however, I think it's pretty apparent we're all witness to something special. If Pujols can stay healthy (or at least bare the pain to swing a bat like this year), I think Albert will retire as one of the greatest players of all time.

On a sidenote, he's also a classy guy. Has anyone heard about his foundation's work with DS? Amazing...

Re: Pujols wins 2nd NL MVP

Funny how we haven't heard any quotes from him yet about how players who can't even get their team to the playoffs shouldn't be getting MVP awards.
