Found this on espn.com big 12 blog

Tim Griffin made this note under the "Other things I've noticed" on the Big 12 blog at half time of the game on Sat. Makes me proud that I was out there freezing my *** off.

"I'm amazed at the support that Iowa State is receiving from fans at Jack Trice Stadium. The Cyclones are 2-8 and playing for little except pride tonight. It's freezing and the stadium is almost packed. Those fans love their football -- even if most of the time this season it hasn't been very good."

Seems to sum things up pretty well this season.

Jamie Pollard should thank season ticket holders by not raising prices again next year.

I overdressed, but I wasn't complaining at all. Of course sitting in front of the Mizzou cheerleaders kept me prety warm too.

Exaggeration is a BILLION times worse than understating.

Re: Found this on espn.com big 12 blog

Ticket prices will be the same.

The catch: The KSU game in KC (which was supposed to be a home game) will need to be purchased seperately.

    So:

6 home games ($350) "Same price"

1 game in KC approx. $90.

Net effect is being able to say the price didn't go up, but still getting additional revenue from the KC game.

They do have some talent in Columbia. Seems like they always had good talent there. Must be a good base in StL.

I imagine that is about how it will go as well. Plus I imagine no single game tickets to iowa again.

They will tell you that for 4+ months but when season ticket sales aren't going as well as hoped, they will come up with some ticket package to get more people in.

Good to get some recognition out there to the best fan-base in the U.S.A.

Is this a known fact or your opinion? Just curious. ISU fans need to realize their part in growing our football success. It takes $$ to run a football program. It will happen faster if we give more now rather than "wait for the finished product".

I'm OK with holding ticket prices the same.

Just an opinion but honestly why would it be any different? Ticket prices will probably stay the same, but they will get additional revenue from the KSU game.

Seems to sum things up pretty well this season.

This is why Pollard think ISU is a sleeping giant. Put a winning product on the field, and the fans will come out in huge numbers.
