    Re: Wes E.

We need to stop recruiting players from small towns. Wes probably hasn't been exposed to as many diseases as our players from places with high population density. Look at it:
Diante Garrett, Milwaukee - Not Sick
Craig Brackins, Palmdale (born in LA) - Not Sick
Dominique Buckley, Detroit - Not Sick
Charles Boozer, Raleigh - Not Sick

It's a good thing we don't recruit all small town kids because we probably wouldn't have had a team to play tonight. There's no comparison between the immune systems in places like Detroit and Milwaukee as compared to Fremont, Nebraska.

have you ever got caught outside In a strong rainfall? Yes or NO. If it"s yes, then you might half felt the pane of hard(tought) rain on you head. If it hurt"s then it"s tough. Yes or no. Okay I'm right and you know it.

So alothough you attempt"ed to say you didn"t understnad, now you do. Fair enough?

The contact with recruiters provides increased disease exposure.

Maybe we should start a redshirt program where the players spend their first year travelling the world being exposed to any and every form of virus and infection known to mankind, just to build up their tolerance for the following four years.

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

Ames is bigger than Fremont (that is probably why Alex Thompson wasn't sick) but still if I have the choice I would rather have players with bigger cities for the stronger immune systems they will probably have. Chicago, Milwaukee, Twin Cities are all close and we should focus on those areas instead of wasting our time with Nebraska. Even viruses don't want to have to go to Nebraska - hence Eikmeier is sick.

I am totally behind your theory. I think we should probably, just to be safe, stop recruiting Harrison Barnes for this reason.

I know Ames is kind of big, but can we really risk him getting the flu before a big game??
