    I-State Winter Coats

Has anyone seen any in stores yet? I'm in need of a new winter coat so was wondering if any place is selling a fairly heavy winter coat? Last one I bought was probably 8 years ago with the old Cy logo but it's to the point of needing replaced as the zipper for 1 is pretty busted up. It served it's purpose well though...

    Re: I-State Winter Coats

Not related to winter coats but I was out at Jordan Creek Mall yesterday. I figured I would be seeing nothing but people wearing EIU gear after their big win and few people wearing ISU paraphernalia taking into consideration the poor results on the football field this year and lack of optimism heading into basketball season. I was pleasantly surprised to see more people wearing ISU gear than EIU gear. I decided to take an unofficial poll and out of the first 20 people I saw wearing either it was ISU 14 and EIU 6. Way to represent Cyclone fans! I was proud!

I sat behind a guy at the Nebraska game with a Huskers starter jacket that I'm sure was from 1993. Not a good look.

I had a buddy find a nice Letterman Iowa jacket one year and have been interested in trying to find something similar in ISU. Any one seen anything?

Check the classifieds for one that says "Bates" on the back.

    Probably selling cheap.

Hey PB recorded one solo tackle in the Colorado game according to the stats. I think he secretly rejoined the team.

Does anybody know if they sell ISU "helmet hoody" sweatshirts like this Michigan one?

One coat in 8 years? Good god man. Break out that checkbook from time to time. I'm not sure any piece of clothing should last a guy that long.

I do the same kind of thing when I am out and about and I must say ISU fans are representing better than they used to. I am noticing it more here in the Cedar Valley, but still not up to where it should be. I always try to take notice of license plates and apparel. Seems at least something we're doing as a university must be working if our fans care enough to wear the gear.

Well I also have a leather winter coat that isn't quite as heavy and kind of trench coat length that I bought about 4 years ago too. But yeah I try to get some mileage out of stuff if I can.

    Re: I-State Winter Coats

So, some friends and I were having a debate a couple of weeks ago after seeing some older fans wearing their old college letter jackets...

How long do you have to be out of school for it to be acceptable to wear your letter jacket again?
