I don't think that is funny at all. It's sad that he seemed to have his life back on track and now might lose it all.

    That was my thought, too.

Laughing at addiction/illness is about like cheering when an opponent gets injured on the field.

    Re: Ryan Leaf: HAHA

I wonder if he is in that much pain or is an addict?

I know some people have very low quality of life after playing in the NFL due to chronic pain from injuries.

I read the personal leave and asking a kid for a pill as a sign of an addiction. Maybe not, though.

please help me understand why someone who is struggling brings laughter and amusement to you. I hope he gets things figured out.

I think he chose the wrong profession, should have joined the PGA....
Oh wait, the Chargers paid him $31 million... You'd think he could score some good drugs with all that coin.

    Re: Ryan Leaf: HAHA

I do not find any humor in this either.

Not only does this impact Leaf but his players are also affected by him not being there. A 9-1 record is solid at any level and when you lose your head coach, it can only be a distraction.

Hope he figures out his issues and gets on the right track.

I read it that way too.

Regardless - what he did is illegal. I'm guessing he didn't get his own ****** because of addiction issues. Or what he may be getting isn't getting him his fix.

    So he went looking.

    Too bad.

(s-c-r-i-p-t is a bad word? This new lingo has really got past me in my old age!)

That would only be an appropriate comparison if you're trying to suggest that the iowa football team has an addiction to criminal activity.

I guess in such a case, you may have a point.....

My bad. Just the QB coach? This is freaking hilarious! How did the hawks miss out on this guy?
