It's one thing to make a team and another to make the practice squad. RJ is borderline on making a roster. Kurtis Taylor could end up on a P.S. somewhere. Other than that I don't believe anyone has a realistic chance. Kurtis is a worker and that's why he has a chance.

    Re: NFL Talent??

I really don't see anyone on our roster that can make it in the NFL. RJ maybe but still a very long shot.

    Re: NFL Talent??

senior class? No... we have some freshman and sophomores who could develop into NFL talent.... but our best seniors are Kurtis Taylor and R.J. and neither will get there in the NFL

    Re: NFL Talent??

I love Kurtis but he's a little undersized for an NFL d-end, and I'm not sure if RJ has the raw speed to make a roster.

I think LJ, Arnaud, SJ, Ter'ran Benton, and maybe some of the O-Line have the raw ability and measurables to make it.

    Re: NFL Talent??

None of our Seniors are NFL caliber.

I honestly thought this thread was a complete joke before reading it....

    Re: NFL Talent??

Well on ESPN's Draft Tracker, the only ISU player is Doug Dedrick. Abilene Christian has 4 guys, Central State (Ohio) has 2 guys, Colgate has 3, Liberty has 4 and so on and so forth. All the more reason not to worry about a 2-10 season.

    Re: NFL Talent??

I think RJ is the only senior with a chance to make it. I think he could catch on in the right situation as a possession receiver. I think Dedrick, Singleton and Taylor will get into camp, but all 3 will get cut early.

    Re: NFL Talent??

Sedrick Johnson and Leonard Johnson... from what I can tell now... are NFL prospects in 3 more years. Other than that... it's tough to predict NFL guys... Who would have thought Blythe wouldn't get drafted after his sophomore season he had?

I would say anyone starting or seeing signifigant time on the OL as a freshman could be considered an NLF prospect.
