    Stupid Game Coverage question...

I'm going to be at my girlfriend's family's place in NE Iowa (New Hampton area) and they have Dish Network. Is there any way in hell I'm watching the blood bath, or am I sifting through the radio for Walters and Heft?

haha. She knows where she stands on Saturdays, lol. Actually, she doesn't mind watching football at all, and likes going to the games (for the most part) so it isn't a problem. I'll have to check out the ESPN gameplan stuff, as I doubt they have any rabbit ears around...

    Re: Stupid Game Coverage question...

I'm still not getting 5.2 with my OTA through my DTV HR21s. Not sure what the deal is there. I've reset the OTA channels twice and it still doesn't show up.

If it's not there Saturday, I'm hoping they either give us free access to it on the GamePlan channel (wouldn't surprise me as this has been done before) OR I'm watching it on ESPN360.

Generally this would be my go-to, but I would be shocked to find a bar in that area that has the capability (or desire) of carrying this game....

If would doubt that a small town bar would show this game. Maybe you could make a trip to Waterloo, drop her off at the mall for a couple of hours and you go to a bar.

The owner of the Pinicon is a big ISU guy and season ticket holder I believe. I would be surprised if it would not be available in the bar there somehow. Certainly worth a shot if they are not having a wedding. Kolby's or Chaffs (sp?) may be able to help you out as well.

Check to see if they have a local channel package through Dishnetwork. Or add it for $5 a month. That far north they may require the Rochester package instead of the Cedar Rapids.
Channel 9.2 is carring out of C.R.
