    WSOP Final Table 11/11...

Anybody else pumped for this live event? I am wondering how they are going to be able to pull it off. I mean, this final table could last for hours! But, maybe they'll stop it after a certain point. Will they be able to show the hole cards on tv, too? I don't know, but I'm looking forward to it...

It won't be live, there will be some sort of delay.

    Re: WSOP Final Table 11/11...

I found this from a blog back in May, not sure if anything has changed:
ESPN will broadcast the final table in two hours of the action in prime time on November 11. (Not live and not the whole thing, but just 1-2 days after it happens.)

    Re: WSOP Final Table 11/11...

    From the WSOP website:
The final table has been set and will reconvene on November 9th when these nine players battle for their share of over $32 million. First they will play down until 2 remain. The final 2 will finish play on November 10th and then the event will be broadcast by ESPN on
    November 11th.

Watch out for the guy from St Louis. He's played very smart so far and has a huge stack, so he can pick his hands very carefully.

I was glad Tiffany Michelle went out last night, she was being a tool, or whatever similar name can be placed on a female

    Re: WSOP Final Table 11/11...

Ahh, I see. I guess I hadn't heard much about it since they got down to the Final Table a couple months ago. I had wondered how they would air it live. I wonder how many spoilers will be out before it is actually played?

As for Tiffany Michelle. Yeah, she was quite annoying. It was good to see her get mauled on the way out...

yeah, I was excited there was still a girl left, but when she called clock on Snead, I was able see her as a b&*ch. she got incredibly lucky throughout.

Spoilers will be everywhere. But since play starts on Nov. 9, a CyBookie event could close late on Nov. 8 and not be compromised.

    Re: WSOP Final Table 11/11...

Delaying the final table really changes tournament play. Some of those guys who were on a roll may not be now (guy w/ StL hat) I will they would just show it in the summer, theres not much to watch then anyway.

I wonder how many of those guys already spent their winnings (and then some). I thought the same thing, too, about being in a roll. It would suck to wait that long. All nine were obviously on a roll at the time. They could be going through a slump, now. Of course, worst case scenario, they'll still take home at least $900K!

    Re: WSOP Final Table 11/11...

Putting hte final table off for 4 months is stupid. Heaven forbid something happenns to one of the players in that 4 months and they don't have the opportunity to compete for the bracelet. All because ESPN wants to show the final table in prime time. That is kind of stupid in my opinion

I'll work on it this afternoon.

She may have had a right to call a clock on that hand, but she was totally out of line, since she was not even involved in the hand.
She got was coming to her.

    Re: WSOP Final Table 11/11...

It would be pretty hard to watch that whole thing live. I probably would but it would not be too exciting.

I am a poker player and I have played 7 hour long tournaments before (usually while drinking a few beers at least for entertainment, thank god). It would be really hard to watch a 12 hour plus final table and every hand.

90% of the hands will be dealt, one player will bet, and everyone will fold. Shuffle up and redeal...repeat.

I watched last years final table, streaming on wsop.com, and yes, it was a very boring table.
Almost every hand went like this:
    Jerry Yang rasies, everyone folds.

I was pulling for Tiffany Michelle. Maybe because she's hot.
