    New Friday the 13th movie

Saw the preview on Yahoo movies. Could be a pretty good horror flick. It appears Jason is no longer a slow moving force. He runs at you with his machete. That could add a little bit more fright, much like foes in 28 Days Later did for the "zombie-type" movies.

My Blood Valentine 3d might be a fun one too since its in 3d. 3d is corny, but entertaining.

    Sorry, forgot the link.

Um, unless his enlarged heart has crawled out of his chest and is wandering around the city (again), I don't know that I can watch another Friday the 13th movie. That was the pinnacle for me - much like Halloween 3.

Jason running? That doesn't seem right. I always thought it was more freaky that he could walk through the woods and somehow end up behind you. If he starts running then he's just a weird guy wearing a mask instead of some creepy, supernatural being.

If he's running how are terrified people going to be able to fall down, slip around on the ground for 10 seconds screaming, and then get back up in time to get away?

Is this supposed to be a remake of the first one?

True, but it wont have people in the theater going, "why cant they just outrun him, he walks everywhere" But I do get your point. I guess they are working on a new Nightmare on Elm Street movie as well. Could be interesting.

Wasn't Halloween 3 the one where the masks were activated by the TV (or something to that effect)?

I wonder why they are waiting until February to release it, instead of, say, this week...

The mother aspect of Friday 13th was super freaky to me as well. As wishy washy as Michael Bay can be with his movies, he promises lots of nudity like the old ones. I will hold him to that.

Thats because people always think they have outrun him then stop and relax. Or they think they have killed him and go back to check...

I like the Friday the 13th franchise but mostly because my birthday is the 13th and I really like the number...

Yay - another craptacular movie that I get to pretend isn't in the theater...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

Agreed - but, to top it off, the woman who played Jason's mother looks almost exactly like my maternal grandmother did at the time the film was made. I never gave her any of my sweaters.
