Wow that's impressive! That's pretty bogus that they won't let her play because she's a girl. I mean ok so they have to work around it with locker room issues and all of that but that's still no reason to not let her at least play in H.S. where she can enjoy the game like everyone else.

    Re: A potential FB recruit

It's the story of a dad who wanted a son, got nothing but daughters instead, couldn't live with the fact he wouldn't have someone on the field to cheer for. So, he made he start kicking field goals. I must have heard the same sad story at least twice now, when is it going to end?

Can you imagine a huge lineman breaking through the line and smashing her into the grass. If shes talented she should play, but I would worry for her safety.

yeah! let's disregard her ability and personally attack her dad-that makes 100% sense

As far as depth goes though, the combination of White, Woodbury, Olaseni, Basabe, and Uthoff is much better than Niang, Ejim, Edozie, Gibson. Not because of the top 2, but because of the next 2 or 3. -DeanVogs

I heard Mahoney doesn't really kick the ball. The ball is actually so frightened by his leg that it jumps through the goal posts to avoid being destroyed.

Does she take less steps then most kickers? That woudl be pretty advantageous.

Tell her to go play soccer. Why do we have to do this every so many years. Girls get to play girl sports with girls. Not many guys go and try out for the girls vollyball team or soccer team. It's always a girl trying to get on a guys team.

knownothing... apparently you know nothing about soccer. it is much more popular as a male sport than a female sport.

I see no problem with her playing. If she is better than the alternative, so be it.

The term glass ceiling refers to situations where the advancement of a qualified person within the hierarchy of an organization is stopped at a lower level because of some form of discrimination, most commonly sexism or racism.
