For those age 20-29 (Students especially)

First off, I am a 21 year old ISU student. All this talk of people joining NCC got me to look at the ISU website, and they have a great opportunity for people age 20-29. Membership in the Varsity level is only $50, and I am joining for sure. Seeing that there are plenty of young people out there at Cyclone FB games, I think that this would be a great way to get money into the program. I mean $50? C'mon you all have it. Even if you are a student. Benefits include gaining priority points, a bad ***** sticker to proudly display on your car, and discounts. I would highly recommend this for you younger, poorer guys out there (unless you want to go straight to Directors level, I'm not gonna stop you!)

That is a great idea. I was actually thinking about doing the same thing but didn't have time to look up the info yet. "Pennies today or tonight- will equal dollars for tomorrow. "

I think you also get half price season tickets with it. (doubt that includes student tickets, but I am not sure)

Ive been thinking about this today. I would love to give more, but since I am graduating in 3 weeks and am unsure of what kinda of cash flow I will have (buying a new vehicle and do have a job lined up), this is a good way to go, at least to start. I will def. increase it in coming years, but it is a great way to get into the game.

I think if you can get up to states 250 you can get a parking pass also. It is not guaranteed below cardinal, but last year most of the 250 people got a pass.

Better take advantage of this deal now because I'm guessing it will be gone in 2-3 years. That may seem bad, but actually it will be a good thing for the Athletic Department.

Re: For those age 20-29 (Students especially)

Each member can buy up to 2 season tickets at the discounted price right?

Where are the parking passes for?

Is there a discount for basketball season tickets as well?

    Thanks

Re: For those age 20-29 (Students especially)

I doubt it'll be gone. In any case, I think getting rid of it would be a mistake.

I can definitely see them backing it off from 29 to a little earlier, say 27 or even 25. It's definitely a bit of a free ride for a long time. But it's a great way to get younger alums involved. Worked for me. I just wish I knew about it before I was 28 (or whenever it was). Everybody I started going to games with and still go with, started because of the Varsity NCC. Once we hit 30, most stuck with it and those who didn't, it had more to do with family obligations and such.

Re: For those age 20-29 (Students especially)

You don't get a parking pass for Varsity. Used to, as did century. This year might be a little nervous for State's 250 as well. There was wide open spaces in parking this year, but I have a feeling people will be upping their giving levels

Last I saw, you got 1/2 price basketball tix, max 2.

Not that I know of, but considering there is loads of 99 dollar basketball season tickets, it wouldn't make much sense anyway.
