    The Happening

Worst movie I've seen in years. The chick in it may be the worst actress I've ever seen. She must have slept with numerous people to get the gig. My GF and I couldn't stop watching...we were amazed and entertained by it's awfullness.

Is M. Night supposed to be briliant? Dear God.

Interesting story line, horrible plot. The chick is the same girl that played Jovie in Elf...she wasn't bad in that.

I agree this movie blew. Good idea horrible execution.

Really...if the conductors stopped the train would you just accept it and start walking? I'd climb in the drivers seat and say "all aboard" we getting the heck outta here

I haven't seen this one yet (not sure if I will actually), but Zooey Deschannel is definitely not a terrible actress.

    M. Night Shamalamadingdong, on the other hand, is getting to be more of a terrible writer/director with every new movie he releases. I loved Sixth Sense. Unbreakable is good (underrated, IMO). Signs was OK, even with a few contrived moments. I even thought The Village was OK, though not as good as the others.

But Night started to lose me with Lady in the Water, and with everything I've heard about The Happening, it seems like he's just getting worse and worse.

I forgot about Lady in the Water...that movie was HORRIBLE. Worse than The Happening IMO.

    Re: The Happening

Howard Stern talked about this movie this morning (10-20-08) and said it sucked. Basically it had no ending at all. I think M. Night's run is over. He may have to go back to the drawing board but I doubt a major production company will give him a blank check again

That was classic, Sandberg did a pretty good impression of him the week before, then Wahlberg set it up saying he wanted to pound Sandberg on Kimmel...

Even though I though Brolin had terrible skits, it was worth watching for that 5 minute meeting between Mark and Andy. I thought it was funny when Mark talked to the donkey. Andys thing was spot on.

    Re: The Happening

Anybody have a link to Sambergs imitation. I take it from this weeks that it was dead on like Marky Mark was acting? It probably would have been more amusing had I seen the initial piece!

Nothing to see here mods. Keep moving.

bostinelosd's gonna be ****** when he hears this (and I'm not too happy myself)

No one disses on Zooey Deschanel without serious verbal reprimand...

Shamalan should have just called it a career after "The Sixth Sense" - by far the best movie he ever made.

Absolutely hated "Unbreakable" - thought it was entirely predictable and worse yet it bored me. Rented "Signs" and I got a 2 hour, $3 nap out of it. Didn't even bother watching The Village, Lady in the Water, or The Happening...
