    Coaching Search Timeline

I would love to see a day by day (or hour by hour) timeline of the coaching search from the minute Mac resigned. I know this would be tough to do but would be amazing to read about. Hopefully someone can get to Pollard and get some details out of him.

We may get a few more details than what we have now...which is almost nothing.

However, I doubt we'll get much from Pollard on this one. He likes to keep his cards to himself. :)

    Re: Coaching Search Timeline

    From this morning's DM Rag:

"At least he won't be back in Dallas for a while. That's where Pollard conducted interviews with coaching candidates - Nebraska offensive coordinator Jay Norvell, San Diego head coach Jim Harbaugh and Chizik - on Nov. 18 during off-weeks for all three coaches, and he flew commercially on a direct flight from Des Moines to Dallas.

"I interviewed all three of them (separately) in my hotel room," Pollard said. "I chose Dallas, because it's an easy place for everyone to get in and out of."

Chizik and Pollard met again at a different Dallas hotel last Saturday. This time, he took the Iowa State airplane.

"That's when I offered him the job," Pollard said. "He said he wanted to talk to his family, and that he'd get back with me on Sunday."

Pollard's cell phone rang Sunday morning while unpacking boxes at his new home. "

    Re: Coaching Search Timeline

Love the part of the article saying the Pollard's & Chizik's were at Hickory Park Monday night--I am sure Chizik is counting down the days until he can eat there again.

Do you suppose that R. Peterson ate with them since he had the inside scoop??
