    Enough Tiller Talk

Tillers team was 2-8 in HS. That doesn't sound like the "second coming" to me he might be a good QB/Football player but he is not the guy you build your team around.

It blows my mind how people can proclaim this kid as "the 2nd coming of Seneca Wallace" or "not the guy you build your team around". He is an 18 year old true freshman for God sake. The coaches saw somthing in him and chose to offer him a scholarship. I think I will trust the coaches over fans trying to disect his high school stats.

You know nothing of the football team/program/other players.

    He's actually a 20 year old freshman.

Thanks Bigguns. Now go back to whatever team you disgracefully represent and never come back.

    Re: Enough Tiller Talk

I think everyone's talking about Tiller, not because we think he's the second coming of anything, but he's one snap away from being our starting QB.

Wow. I didn't know that. Hopefully that shortens his learning curve being a little bit older.

I truly hope he can redshirt this year, put on 15lbs in the off-season and be a solid backup next year.

Do you really love crap, or are you just looking at crap and saying that you love it?

    Re: Enough Tiller Talk

Posting another thread about Tiller did not stop the talk about Tiller.

Maybe you should start another thread requesting people to stop talking about him and see if it works the second time. If not, maybe the third time is the charm.

Of course not posting anything at all in the first place may have been your best option!!!

    Re: Enough Tiller Talk

When did I hear this talk before??

Tiller might be good, but have we not learned our lesson yet with Bates. This same talk circulated around when Bates came in and he didn't pan out to be that great at QB.

I'll believe it when I see him on the field and not before. Beware Cyclone fans, don't get drawn into the grass is always greener scenario.

As for the first post, being 2-10 means nothing, just like being 10-2 means nothing. There is more then one player on a football team. My high school won state in football and basketball in the same year, not one player played at the next level- the reverse can also be true.
