"Due to a variety of reasons, the list of visitors for the Nebraska has somewhat changed." ... Most of those reasons happened during the Baylor game!

No, actually Norman Griffith was one of them and sadly he was shot and killed two weeks ago. Not a laughing matter.

One kid I would be excited about is Lindsey Lamar. Not incredibly big but looks to be a speedster (track champ. in FL in the 100 and 200). Would make a good corner and a heck of a return man.

Hopefully the crowd can get jacked up. Remember,......we had one of our best games (OU) after our worst game (TX) last year. We have been playing well at home and Neb is beatable.

If I were ranking those recruits in how important it is to get them:

    1. James Carpenter without a doubt
    2. Akeem Spence
    3. Deon Broomfield cuz our safeties are terrible. honestly.
    4. Brad Wilcox
    5. Luke Sager
    6. Rashad Smith
    7. Jaques Washington
    8. Lindsay Lamar

Re: List of visitors for the Nebraska game

I love that Iowa State is getting into Oklahoma to get players as well. I read an article about how Mike Gundy and Bob Stoops are driving away alot of good players from committing to OU and OSU because they only want the top 5 or 6 guys from the state. This has allowed schools like Tulsa to come in and scoop up what is left and they have been successful. Oklahoma has a ton of talent and I would even go so far as to say that outside of Texas, Florida, and California, it has the most talent.

Make sure to get to the Spirit Walk 2 hours prior to kick off if you want these guys excited! They are like kids at the toy store when they walk through that.

    1. James Carpenter
    desperately. He would be HUGE--literally.
    2. Akeem Spence
I'll take athletic defensive tackles any day.
    3. Lindsay Lamar
that 10.35 100m does it for me, regardless of the forty times some players claim.
    4. Luke Sager
Would be a drop in the bucket of the ends we need--but is he at the top of the list?
    5. Deon Broomfield cuz our safeties are terrible. honestly.
Amen. A little skinny, he could be okay. Might also not top the list.
    6. Jaques Washington
    ditto above
    7.Rashad Smith
I'm not a fan of undersized linebackers--and I like Marry.
    8. Brad Wilcox
Seems very much a "project" rather than a polished contributor--like Burris.

I have a feeling the visitors might be a bit better quality overall for A&M and Missouri.

I will agree, but kids from PA, NJ, MD, AL, MS, MI, OH are all pretty darn good too. We just do not have people on the staff that want to recruit the east coast.
