    Underachieving means that someone expected something of you to start with. So it probably is a positive. The same argument could be made for Mac. If you see that label too often though, it's obviously not a compliment if you are the coach.

    That Iowa is mentioned in the same breath as Miami and Florida State as a team that, at 6-6, has greatly underachieved is a testament to how far Kirk Ferentz has taken that program.

    I look for them to be back next season, though.

    I thought North Carolina State topped them all.The 2 qbs looked like punters passing the ball.

    The Bowden son buyout at $1.2M as OC made him the personally biggest underachiever in football this year.
